This webinar is designed to provide Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) staff with an overview of key changes to the health coverage landscape for the 2027 plan year, and how to help clients prepare for the upcoming Marketplace Open Enrollment period (beginning Nov 1, 2026). Presenters will provide an overview of Marketplace eligibility, enrollment timelines, and key enrollment strategies. The webinar will also describe how the RWHAP, including the RWHAP Part B AIDS Drug Assistance Program, can support clients throughout the enrollment process.
New this year! The webinar will feature an “Ask the Audience” portion to facilitate a peer sharing discussion. During this time, webinar presenters will ask the audience to share their experiences with Marketplace Open Enrollment, including how they have overcome common enrollment challenges and successfully engaged and maintained RWHAP clients in health coverage. - Apply best practices to support clients enrolling into health coverage
- Understand how the RWHAP supports clients to enroll in and maintain health coverage
This training webinar will be especially useful to RWHAP managers, case managers, and other staff that conduct outreach, benefits counseling, and enrollment activities, as well as the recipient and subrecipient staff that support these programs. RWHAP clients are also welcome to attend.
