The ACE TA Center hosted a three-part webinar series covering Medicare and Medicare-Medicaid dual eligibility for Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) clients.
The webinars featured core Medicare and dual eligibility content delivered in previous ACE webinars, as well as new and updated information. They were intended for HIV program staff who enroll and help clients access coverage through Medicare and Medicaid.
Part 1: The Basics of Medicare Eligibility for RWHAP Clients
The first webinar covered Medicare eligibility criteria, common enrollment pathways for Medicare, the different Medicare Parts, and Medicare Advantage.
Part 2: Medicare Enrollment and Coverage for RWHAP Clients
The second webinar covered Medicare enrollment and coverage, sources of financial assistance for Medicare costs, and how the RWHAP—including the AIDS Drug Assistance Program—could support Medicare-eligible people with HIV.
Part 3: Medicare-Medicaid Dual Eligibility for RWHAP Clients
The third webinar covered eligibility criteria for Medicare and Medicaid, health coverage considerations for RWHAP clients who are dually eligible, financial assistance options and sources of enrollment support for RWHAP case managers and program administrators.
